Rental Information
Reservations Our offices are open from 9:00am to 5:00 pm , Monday through Saturday. We are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day and July 4. Reservations can be made in person, booking directly on our website, or by calling our 24/7 toll-free reservation number 1-877-958-9990. You must be 25 years of age in order to book a rental home with Stowe Country Homes. Online reservations take 48 hours to process. If you are booking a property within 48 hours of arrival, you MUST contact a Stowe Country Homes agent immediately to confirm the reservation. Rental home reservations are not confirmed and executed until a signed rental agreement and security agreement is received by our office. Payment Policy One-half of the total amount due must be paid upon signing the rental agreement. The remaining one-half is due no later than thirty days from the commencement date of the rental agreement for non-holiday rentals and no later than sixty days from the commencement date for holiday rentals. If signing of the rental agreement occurs less than thirty days from the commencement date for non-holiday rentals or less than sixty days from the commencement date for holiday rentals, then the full amount due shall be paid upon signing. All payments shall be mailed or otherwise delivered to Agent at its aforestated address. Property Damage Protector The Property Damage Protector protects you from financial burden for losses due to damages that occur accidentally within the property while you occupy the residence. It does not cover any costs due to intentional acts, gross negligience or willful conduct by you or your traveling companions. Any additional cleaning or maintenance expense incurred due to smoking in the residence, unapproved pets in the residence, key locked in residence, furniture rearranged but not returned to original position, windows left open, not honoring check-out time, or any damage caused by gross negligence or willfull conduct by you or your travel companions will be charged immediately to your credit card. If we do not have a card on file, payment to STOWE COUNTRY RENTALS for the full amount is due within thirty days of receipt. Click here for a brochure. Security Deposit The purpose of the security deposit is to secure the performance of Renter's obligations under this Agreement, including but not limited to payment for: damage, injury, deterioration, or loss occurring to the Property; any extra cleaning or repair costs in excess of the standard cleaning charge any unreturned keys and any long distance telephone charges Agent shall return the security deposit to Renter less any deductions utilized for any of the aforestated purposes as specified in a written statement accompanying the return of the security deposit by first class postage prepaid mail to Renter's aforestated address upon determination of any damages and receipt of the telephone bill if any long distance calls are made and any other bills for charges incurred during the term of the lease p p styleCOLOR rgb000Cancellation Policyp p styleCOLOR rgb000Cancellations 30 or more days prior to arrival 60 or more days for Winter Holiday periods are refundable less a 15 service charge No refunds will be issued within 30 days of arrival 60 or more days for Winter Holiday periods under any circumstances unless property is rerented In the event Agent is able to rerent the Property to another renter for the same or more rental payment as provided in this Agreement provided however that Agent shall be under no obligation or expectation to do so then Agent will return to Renter the security deposit and all payments made by Renter less the 15 cancellation fee and any expenses incurred by Agent in rerenting the Property Renter acknowledges and confirms that these remedies are reasonable liquidated damages for Renter's failure to carry out Renter's responsibilities under this Agreement p p styleCOLOR rgb000CheckInCheckOut proceduresp p styleCOLOR rgb000Checkin time is 400pm and checkout time is at 1000amnbsp If we know in advance that you would like either an earlier checkin or later checkout we will do our best to make arrangements to accommodate your wishesp p styleCOLOR rgb000Keys must be returned to the Stowe Country Homes office on the checkout daynbsp Upon checkout we ask our guest to leave the home in the same general condition as it was foundnbsp Leave the home clean wash dishes remove all foodnbsp shut windows and lock doorsp p styleCOLOR rgb000Keysp p styleCOLOR rgb000Please pick up the property key at the Stowe Country Homes Office located at 541 S Main Street in Stowenbsp If you have a large group and plan on arriving in Stowe separately please let us know in advancenbsp We will be happy to give your friends directions directly to the house or condo but we ask that you do this in advance and during our office hours of 900am 500pm Monday through Saturdayp p styleCOLOR rgb000Petsp p styleCOLOR rgb000Manynbsp of our properties are pet friendlynbsp Pet friendly properties are noted with a puppy iconnbsp An additional fee of 40 is required when bringing petsp p styleCOLOR rgb000Private Pools and Hot Tubsp p styleCOLOR rgb000Some of our properties contain Jacuzzis hot tubs and other appliancesnbsp We will not be held responsible for their failure to worknbsp In the event of a malfunction please contact the office immediately and we will make every effort to have it repaired as quickly as possiblep p styleCOLOR rgb000Fireplacesp p styleCOLOR rgb000Firewood is furnished during the winter December through Aprilnbsp You should find an adequate supply for your staynbsp If you need more it is available for purchase through local marketsp p styleCOLOR rgb000Trashp p styleCOLOR rgb000If your stay is 7 days or greater trash will be picked up on fridaysp p styleCOLOR rgb000247 Emergency Maintenancep p styleCOLOR rgb000If there is an emergency please telephone the officenbsp We have a 24 hour answering servicenbsp If the problem can wait until morning we would appreciate your calling us directly during regular business hours.
